Traditional music festival launched. The 30th annual festival of the traditional musical instrument Morin Khuur is being held in Ulaanbaatar. Horse fiddle instrument is Mongolia’s symbol of peace and unity and one of the official intangible cultural heritages registered by UNESCO in 2003. To further promote Mongolian original musical instrument horse fiddle, the major traditional music festival is being organized since 2015 on the central square of the capital city. Best cast and ensemble performs Mongolian and world classics.
