Mongolia promotion event held in Prague
A culture event to advocate Mongolian history, customs and traditions was held in Prague on the occasion of the forthcoming Mongolian traditional New Year according to the lunar calendar. In the scope of the event, French photographer Remi Chapeaublanc held a photo exhibition displaying photos of Mongolian herder lifestyle, culture and customs, including photos about an annual Felt Festival held in central Mongolian province of Uvurkhangai.

In the scope of the event, French photographer Remi Chapeaublanc held a photo exhibition displaying photos of Mongolian herder lifestyle, culture and customs, including photos about an annual Felt Festival held in central Mongolian province of Uvurkhangai. The guests at the event watched a short documentary film about Mongolian herder’s culture, the Morin Khuur musical instrument and throat singing performance and enjoyed Mongolian traditional food and drinks. They also exchanged views on traditions, customs and heritage of Mongolia and the present situation of the tourism industry and talked about possibilities to promote Mongolia to the Czech Republic and to intensify the bilateral tourism cooperation.
