On this day, Ulaanbaatar citizens switched off their lights as part of the Worldwide Fund for Nature’s (WWF) Earth Hour to show that they care about the future of our planet. The idea is that the choices people make and the actions they take after the hour is up can help reduce the impacts of climate change on the planet, its wildlife and future generations. On Earth Hour 2017 millions of people in over 170 countries across the world switched off lights for one hour.
