The cabinet has ruled that all ministries and the Department of Communication and Information Technology are obliged to have non-vacant councils on ensuring rights of the disabled.

The cabinet has ruled that all ministries and the Department of Communication and Information Technology are obliged to have non-vacant councils on ensuring rights of the disabled. The non-vacant councils will be responsible for solving problems of disabled workers, such as the accessibility in public transports and buildings. Other concerns of the council include improving their living conditions, healthcare, labor safety, social and psychiatric services, inclusion in cultural and sports events, discovering talent and promoting creativity of the disabled. Non-vacant councils are obliged to provide professional consulting and preparing and submitting proposals on protecting the rights and interests of the disabled.
