Mongolia to cooperate with Sweden

Mongolia is to cooperate with Sweden. Minister of Environment and Tourism D.Oyunkhorol met with Anna Lindstedt, Sweden’s Ambassador to Mongolia and talked about climate change effects in Mongolia, about how the country strives to be ecologically sustainable. The Ministry is working to diversify and green the nation’s mining-dependent economy and therefore wishes to exchange experience with Sweden and expand cooperation in environmental conservation and tourism, told the Mongolian Minister. Swedish Ambassador Anna Lindstedt expressed preparedness to cooperate with the Mongolian Ministry which is prioritizing green development and tourism. Mrs. Ambassador told that she would be happy to connect the Mongolian Ministry of Environment to related organizations and support its activities against climate change.
