“Women’s Leadership and Gender Equality” roundtable discussion was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Women’s leadership and gender equality are considered. “Women’s Leadership and Gender Equality” roundtable discussion was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the scope of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Australia which falls in September. The special guest of the event, visiting Ambassador for Women and Girls of Australia Dr Sharman Stone provided the significant contribution in bilateral relations of the countries. Based on Australia’s practice, the speakers held discussions on supporting women’s leadership in private and public sectors, Mongolia’s policy on gender equality, development policy and projection of gender equality and Parliament’s role in supporting women’s leadership.
