National language and script day unfolds "literary geniuses” exhibition. By the order of the President of Mongolia, National Language and Script Day takes place within the first week of May. This year, the National Language and Script Day is being celebrated under the slogan “National Script: Guarantee of Independence”. Within the framework, a series of exhibitions displaying literary culture and xylography traditions of the Mongolian people, research conferences on Mongolian literature, events promoting the literary works and calligraphies of famous Mongolian scholars of all generations and meetings between authors and readers are taking place. And by 2025, Mongolia will be having mixed language of Cyrillic and Traditional Mongolian Scripts. Therefore, the Ministries and related organizations need to cooperate in order to promote the usage of Traditional Mongolian Scripts”. It is not only participated by Mongolians, but also foreigners as well.
