Mongolia participated in Venice Biennale 2017. Mongolian artists, including State Prize Laureate artist Sh.Chimeddorj, artist O.Enhktaivan, who is a winner of the Union of Mongolian Artists prize and other young artists participated in Venice Biennale 2017 and unveiled their exhibition titled "Heaven Survivors” to the public. Biennale Arte 2017, the 57th International Art Exhibition brought together more than one thousand artists from 86 countries. The Art Biennale - a contemporary visual art exhibition held biennially in odd-numbered years is on top of the 2017 list released by Artnet.com online market of fine arts. The Documenta exhibition ranked second on the list. The two both exhibitions have become more popular year by year, representing a huge responsibility and benefits both for the country and artists.
