Mongolia and Buryatia to cooperate on social protection of elders

Mongolia and Buryatia to cooperate on social protection of elders. General Agency for Labor and Social Service of Mongolia inked a cooperation agreement with Ministry of Social Protection of the Republic of Buryatia, Russia. According to the agreement, various activities are planned, such as organizing conferences and seminars between social welfare and protection authorities and reciprocal training of specialists as well as mutual exchanges of senior people to recreation centers of two countries. Previously, Mongolia and Buryatia established such agreement in 2011 and 2015 respectively, and 100 senior citizens of Mongolia and Buryatia were exchanged for recreational therapy in the scope of the agreements.
