The annual ‘Young Mongolists’ Summer School’ international program commenced with an opening ceremony at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports. The summer program has been implemented with the aim to introduce future scholars of Mongolian studies to life in Mongolia, and conduct a special seminar through real lingual and cultural interactions. The organisers also believe the summer school is a concrete step in realising the goal to enforce the legacy of Mongolian studies. The 2017 summer school attracts 28 young scholars from 18 universities in 12 countries. Young scholars are given class room lectures on various topics and also experience nomadic lifestyle first-hand as a part of their program. The 'Young Mongolists’ Summer School' has engaged the total of over 90 young scientists from 18 countries since 2015.
