The Mongolian Stock Exchange received an official letter from the FTSE Russell regarding the outcome of the September 2017 Annual Review for the FTSE Russell Frontier Market Watch List.

The Mongolian Stock Exchange received an official letter from the FTSE Russell, a British provider of global stock market indices and associated data services, regarding the outcome of the September 2017 Annual Review for the FTSE Russell Frontier Market Watch List. In recognition of the MSE’s commitment to introduce the market enhancements required for Mongolia to meet the Quality of Markets matrix criteria, Governance & Policy Managing Director Christopher Woods emphasized that the FTSE Russell is keen to collaborate with the MSE to achieve this goal. Mongolia was removed from the watch list upon FTSE Russell’s decision that the implementation of T+2 settlement system is unlikely in the near future. Henceforth, the MSE encourages all market participants to treat the compliance with FTSE requirements and potential inclusion on the watch list as a top priority.
