Mongolia aspires to boost cooperation with Switzerland. Head of the Cabinet Secretariat G.Zandanshatar has met a delegation led by Gabriela Spirli, Deputy Director of Cooperation Division of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). They exchanged views on the Mongolia-Switzerland ties and cooperation. Beginning the meeting, G.Zandanshatar said Mongolia aspires to strengthen and broaden the relations and cooperation with Switzerland, highlighting the countries share many similarities, such as landlocked geographical locations and small populations. He expressed thanks to the Swiss side for continuing cooperation assistance to Mongolia for the years 2017-2020 and emphasized projects and programs implemented by the SDC contribute to a socio-economic development and livelihood. The Head of the Cabinet Secretariat pointed out Mongolia has asked the Swiss side to learn a chance for setting up a group at the Federal Assembly. He underlined the necessities to boost the economic cooperation of Mongolia with Switzerland and to develop connections between companies and businessmen.
