Goyol-2018 annual fashion week took place
The biggest annual fashion festival of Mongolia, Goyol was held this week organized by the Mongolian Designers’ Association for the 30th year.
The biggest annual fashion festival of Mongolia, Goyol was held this week organized by the Mongolian Designers’ Association for the 30th year. Mongolian designers introduced their latest best collections that would shape fashion trends of 2018. Designers competed in four main categories of daily fashion, traditional costume, ceremonial attire and abstract fashion featuring 50 models on the catwalk. Following the tradition of selecting a top model annually, Model T.Khaliunaa was awarded the ‘Top Model of Goyol-2018’ title. Also this year the festival announced a competition for “anti-pollution mask design” co-organized by Cambridge Mask Company, the Mongolian Designers’ Association, British Embassy in Ulaanbaatar and Mongol TV. Winner products are going to be manufactured and put on Mongolian market and other countries. Designer M.Janidaiz won the first place with her design named “Uulen-2” and she will participate in a fashion show to be held in Hong Kong in 2018.
