Mongolian State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet performed the La Traviata, opera in three acts by G.Verdi this weekend. Considered as one of the famous opera in the world, the premiere of the La Traviata took place in 1853 at the Teatro La Fenice, Italy. Based on the novel La Dame aux Camélias by Alexandre Dumas, it was written by Piave. Performed in Mongolia in 1977 for the first time, State Honored Cultural Figure Yo.Tserendolgor worked as the artistic director, Ch.Jamsranjav--as the conductor, Ch.Gungaasukh--as the art director.
