Mongolian citizen Mrs Sainzaya Enkhtaivan gave birth to a healthy baby boy as Australia’s first baby in the New Year.

Mongolian citizen Mrs Sainzaya Enkhtaivan gave birth to a healthy baby boy as Australia’s first baby in the New Year. The new baby was born at 01:20 on the 1st of January at Sydney's Westmead Hospital. The baby`s birth news was shared Today, breakfast television program of the Australian channel, Nine Network. According to mum Sainzaya, the baby was 'a little bit big', weighing in at 4.15 kilograms. While her labour was so long, Sainzaya looked to be in good health and spirits after welcoming her second son. Midwife Dr Hugh Porter said it was an 'exciting time for everyone involved' in welcoming the first baby into the New Year. Sainzaya is one of the over 2,500 Mongolians working and studying in Australia. In recent years, Mongolian population has been rapidly increasing. 3 years ago, Mongolia was welcoming its 3 millionth citizen.
