Mongolian-Cuban news agencies to collaborate
The National News Agency of Mongolia (Montsame) and Havana-based Prensa Latina News Agency (PL) signed a cooperation agreement to exchange news and collaboration in the area of journalism.
Mongolian-Cuban news agencies are to collaborate. The National News Agency of Mongolia (Montsame) and Havana-based Prensa Latina News Agency (PL) signed a cooperation agreement that will allow the exchange of news and collaboration in the area of journalism between both countries. Montsame's General Director, Mrs. Ganchimeg Badamdorj, and Cuban Ambassador Raul Delgado on behalf of PL signed the agreement that will allow the two press institutions to exchange their daily news dispatches in English language via Internet. At the signing ceremony, the Director General of Montsame highlighted the advances of Cuba in the field of health and biotechnology, as well as the contribution made by the island in the training of young Mongolians on various fields of study such as the medicine, the dentistry, the Spanish language among others. For his part, the Ambassador stressed how this agreement constitutes a step forward in the people to people relations. Montsame, founded in 1921, is the official state news agency of Mongolia, with permanent correspondents in Ulaanbaatar, in 21 provinces of Mongolia, Beijing and Moscow. Founded in June, 1959, PL today has correspondent offices in 37 countries, and cooperation agreements with over 50 news agencies.
