Mongolia received the right to host the Silk Road International Fashion Week in 2019.
Mongolia received the right to host the Silk Road International Fashion Week in 2019. The event is considered the Olympics of the fashion industry. Last year, a team of Mongolian designers and models led by Mongolian International Model Association successfully participated in the Silk Road International Fashion Week held in Chongqing, China. Traditionally, the organizing committee of the event selects the host city for each edition of the event, among the cities around the world that have entered a bid, based on certain criteria.
