Austrian Mongolist becomes cultural envoy of Mongolia
Dr. Maria-Katharina Lang, a citizen of Austria aims to develop Mongolian Studies abroad and publicize Mongolian history and culture through the Mongolian Studies.
Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Battsetseg.B presented a Certificate of the Cultural Envoy of Mongolia to Mongolist Dr. Maria-Katharina Lang who has been working for Mongolian Studies for 23 years, especially researches of Mongolia’s ancient historical and cultural artifacts being kept in some European countries. Dr. Maria-Katharina Lang, a citizen of Austria aims to develop Mongolian Studies abroad and publicize Mongolian history and culture through the Mongolian Studies and plans to organize international conference and lectures and joint exhibition on Mongolia’s nomadic culture and artifacts.
