During the first six months of 2018, 9,800 people out of the total number of registered unemployed people got a new job through intermediaries.

The number of jobless people in Mongolia went down by 11.1 percent from the same period last year. 25,800 people registered themselves as unemployed in the first half of this year according to the data from the National Statistical Office of Mongolia. More than half of the unemployed are female and the unemployment rate was the highest in the age group of 15-34 years. During the first six months of 2018, 9,800 people out of the total number of registered unemployed people got a new job through intermediaries.
