Mongolia takes strides for creating youth-friendly space

A national campaign is being launched to create a youth-friendly space, support young people, and increase job opportunities for them. The month-long campaign, Youth Development Month, is being organized by the Ulaanbaatar Family, Youth and Children Development Agency and other young support agencies. As part of the campaign, dozens of events will be organized to increase youth participation in addressing social problems, seek solutions for challenges facing young people, and open opportunities for them to develop and work. Other measures include clubs and organizations for youth, competitions, psychological consultation, family consultation, employment consultation, and legal consultation. A third of Mongolia’s some three million people are aged between 15 and 34, according to the National Statistical Office.
