The Belarusian automobile engineering company MAZ is ready to supply public transport vehicles to Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Belarus' MAZ vehicles will be able to somewhat improve the ecological situation in Ulaanbaatar. During the winter season the city turns into one of the world's most polluted capitals. At present, UB city’s authorities are working on new urban planning solutions and considering the use of more eco-friendly public transport. The head of the MAZ office in Mongolia Nikolai Kravchenko said “They are considering not only diesel buses, but also electric buses and trolleybuses with autonomous travel options and buses with gas engines. No final decision has been made yet. Therefore, the company offered all available options to Mongolia”. improved
