More Mongolians to study in Australia
Mongolia’s Ministry of Finance and Australian Embassy in Mongolia signed the agreement on extension of the Australian Scholarship Program for five years.
Mongolia’s Ministry of Finance and Australian Embassy in Mongolia signed the agreement on extension of the Australian Scholarship Program for five years. The program that grants scholarships in leading Australian universities has been implemented since 1993. Currently, a total of 530 people from public and private sectors have been involved in the program, studying master of management, business, law, public administration, international relations and information technology. The agreement includes scholarships not only for master’s degree, but also for short-term training, which is an important step in the development and training of personnel. The employment rate for graduates is 100 percent, 22 percent of which work in managerial position, which shows the efficiency of the program. In addition to gender equality, the program involves people from rural areas and people with disabilities since 2013.
