Buryat National Theatre of Song and Dance «Baikal» performs again in Mongolia
The visiting performances consist of "Gala-concert", "The Echo of Bargudzhin Tukum Land" play, and performance from the winners of "Russia-one" dance show.
On the days of Mongolian-Russian Friendship and Cooperation, Buryat National Theatre of Song and Dance «Baikal» will perform again in Mongolia after 20 years. The visiting performances consist of "Gala-concert", "The Echo of Bargudzhin Tukum Land" play, and performance from the winners of "Russia-one" dance show. The event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Cultural Central Palace is being held under the auspice of the Ambassador of Russia to Mongolia. The visiting performances will start with "Gala-concert" on October 22 at the Cultural Central Palace where dancers of the theater will perform the traditional and lively dance. Moreover, traditional musical instruments such as the horse-head fiddle, fiddle, suukha-khuur, shanz /plucked three string instrument/, flute, zither, hammered dulcimer, plucked lute, and harmonica will be played and the theater vocalists will put on their performances before the Mongolian audience. On the second day, "The Echo of Bargudzhin Tukum Land" legendary play will be put on. The play is about how great love between two main characters stops a disastrous war influencing the world history as their daughter Alan Goa becomes the mother of the Mongol imperial family. The visiting performances will end with the "Everybody Dance" show which was selected as the winner of “Russia-1” reality TV show organized all over Russia in spring of 2017. The closing performance will be held with the support of the Mongolian Cultural Ambassador D.Khurelbaatar within the framework of Mongolian-Buryat cooperation with the Culture and Arts. "Baikal" theater has been representing Russia at several spectacular theaters in the world. The theater has been contributing to the establishment of friendly relationships between Russia and other countries, including Mongolia.
