Police Ensemble artist wins first place at International Vocal Competition
A singer of the Suld Ensemble of Mongolian Police also won the award for best performer of a Chinese classical song.
Artist Amarbold Tsend-Ayush has successfully participated in the “Ningbo music international central vocal competition - 2018” winning first place in the A class competition. A singer of the Suld Ensemble of Mongolian Police also won the award for best performer of a Chinese classical song. A total of 296 singers from 17 countries aged 18 to 36 took part in the triennial competition organized in Ningbo city, Zhejiang, People’s Republic of China. Yu Feng, the president of the Chinese Central Conservatory of Music said, “Foreign competitors, despite the language barrier, have performed the Chinese art songs very well, with accurate pronunciation and expressive singing.” Prior to the Ningbo 2018, Amarbold took the 3rd place and was selected as the Best Bass Opera Singer at the 12th International Competition for Professional Opera Singers named after Lkhasaran Lodonovich Linhovoin.
