Technical Assistance Project on construction waste management and recovery to be implemented

The Ministry of Construction and Urban Development and the Caritas Czech Republic international organization established a Memorandum on jointly implementing the project “Improving resource-efficiency and cleaner production in the Mongolian construction sector through materials recovery” with support of the European Union and Czech Development Agency. Within the Memorandum, the sides will cooperate in assessing current state of construction waste management and testing recycled products; enhancing and developing relevant laws; increasing awareness and knowledge of manufacturers, public, and those concerned of the recycled waste products, waste management, and relevant laws and introducing waste recovery. The sides also agreed to devise a joint plan of action and carry it out through corresponding departments in the future.
