The National Committee on Biosafety of Mongolia organized a seminar in partnership with the EU Centres of Excellence on Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Risk Mitigation.

In the frameworks of the implementation of international conventions joined by Mongolia, the National Committee on Biosafety of Mongolia organized a seminar in partnership with the EU Centres of Excellence on Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Risk Mitigation to evaluate the necessity of enhancing bio-safety and bio protection management and plan further measures. Representatives of a total of 16 government and non-governmental organizations are attending the three-day training to realistically evaluate the necessity to reduce the chemical, biological, radiation and nuclear risks by all possibilities and available resources and define further measures to be taken. The European Union is assisting developing countries that are looking to take comprehensive measures on chemical, biological, radiation, and nuclear risks by enhancing the legal framework, building the capacity of personnel for its implementation and enhancing the technology and equipment in the frameworks of regional partnership.
