‘Gobi Wolf-2019’ takes place in Dornogobi province

Gobi Wolf-2019’s international exercise is to take place in Dornogobi province between September the 9th and 21st. For the 8th year since 2009 the international exercise is being jointly organized by the National Emergency Management Agency, the Embassy of the United States and the United States Indo-Pacific Command. The aim is to prepare countermeasures for disasters and hazards that occur in Mongolia, training corresponding disaster and emergency personnel, and sharing experiences with experts of other countries. With the increasing number of seminars, training, and activities planned for the ‘Gobi Wolf’ exercise, the number of participants from countries has been also increased. While the exercise was attended by 13 countries in 2017 and 16 in 2018, there are over 300 representatives of 21 countries.
