“Eco Bayankhongor” project running
“Mongolia Sustainable Development Vision-2030” program adopted by the Government is being realized in aimags and rural areas.
Specifically, authorities of Bayankhongor aimag placed backlit posters at bus stations in aims of making people aware of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Furthermore, to intensify the implementation of “Green development policy” of the aimag, “Sustainable development-partnership” at Citizens Representatives' Khural of the aimag, Governor’s Office of Bayankhongor aimag and “Shizumon” Sustainable Development Association are jointly carrying out “Eco Bayankhongor” project that has a goal to prepare citizens who acquired sustainable and green development education and have a healthy lifestyle.
Within the project, Chairman of the Citizens Representatives' Khural of the aimag B.Batbayar got acquainted with activities of the entities that are sorting out, pressing and transporting waste such as plastic bottles, glass, and porcelain items and expressed to provide help to introduce proper management in their activities further.
