Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. It was reported during today’s press briefing of the Ministry of Health that 210 new cases of COVID-19 detected after 10,049 tests performed nationwide in the past 24 hours. It means the highest number of cases within a day since the first locally confirmed case was recorded.
Of the newly confirmed cases, 206 were detected in Ulaanbaatar, three in Khuvsgul aimag, and one was detected from a citizen who was brought home on Budapest-Ulaanbaatar repatriation.
185 of the cases were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, while sources of 25 cases are under investigation.
Currently, there are 1,562 people who are diagnosed with the virus are undergoing treatment, of which 1,209 are mild, 180 are serious, 15 are in critical and three are in very critical health condition.
