1,128 new COVID-19 cases reported in the past 24 hours
It was reported during today’s press briefing of the Ministry of Health that 1,128 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the past 24 hours.
1,042 of the newly confirmed cases were recorded in the capital city and 82 in rural areas, while four hospital-acquired cases were registered.
As a result, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Mongolia has reached 41,524. In the past 24 hours, 1,308 people have been discharged from hospital and isolation, bringing the number of recoveries to 25,641.
Furthermore, four patients aged 61-85 have died of coronavirus infection, making the death toll 130.
