Swiss Cooperation in Mongolia has handed over six mobile X-Ray machines to Mongolia as part of its humanitarian assistance to support Mongolia’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Swiss Cooperation in Mongolia has handed over six mobile X-Ray machines to Mongolia as part of its humanitarian assistance to support Mongolia’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. During the ceremony, Minister of Health Mr. Enkhbold thanked the Swiss Government for providing medical equipment and other supplies several times this year as part of its humanitarian assistance to support the improvement of the diagnostic and treatment capacity of Mongolia's health facilities to combat the pandemic. The Minister also stressed that the equipment and supplies received before were timely and vital to protect the health and lives of many people. Moreover, he expressed delight with the donation of six mobile X-ray machines being provided to the hospitals in rural provinces with a high prevalence of the virus. Head of the Swiss Cooperation and Consular Agency in Mongolia Dr Stefanie Burri highlighted the importance of close cooperation, mutual understanding, and support between the two countries in overcoming the challenges of the pandemic, while underscoring the significance of this assistance in strengthening the bilateral friendly relations.
