The government is digitizing public services as a first step in becoming a digital nation. As of today, 639 services of 60 government organizations have been made available on the E-Mongolia platform for government services and efforts are underway to digitize 1,200 public services within this year and public services most prone to corruption will be prioritized. State Secretary of the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications B.Bolor-Erdene held a meeting with country representative for The Asia Foundation in Mongolia Mark Koenig to discuss the plan. At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on digitizing public services based on the corruption survey the organization conducted in Mongolia over the last decade and agreed to cooperate in conducting a survey to improve public digital literacy and the target community’s access to the platform.
