At the invitation of the Speaker of the Parliament Mr. Zandanshatar, the Speaker of the Senate of the Canadian Parliament Mr. George Fury and his wife paid an official visit to Mongolia from October 9 to 13. During the negotiations, the parties mutually affirmed the importance of all-round support from the highest legislative bodies of the two countries to ensure the implementation of the "Road Map of Mongolia-Canada Cooperation for Comprehensive Partnership" and bring it to real results and to bring the relations between the two countries to a new level. The parties attach great importance to jointly celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Canada in 2023, and agreed to organize mutual visits, meetings, and events aimed at expanding relations between the citizens. Also, the parties discussed and exchanged views on issues such as expanding trade, economic and development cooperation between Mongolia and Canada within the framework of the "New Revival Policy", increasing Canadian investment in Mongolia, and fully utilizing resources for implementing joint projects and programs. Within the scope of his visit, he visited a herdsman's family in Gobi and got acquainted with Mongolian farming and nomadic culture on the last day.
