The Borjigon horse-head fiddle, which dates back to the 17th century, was brought back to its homeland and placed in the Mongolian Theater Museum. In 2004, a member of the Professors of Cultural Studies team at the Mongolian University of Arts and Culture, head of the Mongolian Ethnic Music Center, and ethnic music researcher Mr. Ganpurev organized this work to bring back the flaxen chestnut fiddle to Mongolia. The event continued with a “Horsehead Fiddle’s Historical Research” speech from him and an “Altai” music group performance.
