Discussions underway to increase number of Chevening scholarship recipients
During his recent visit to the United Kingdom, the Mongolian Minister of Education and Science proposed an increase in the number of Chevening scholarship recipients to the UK's Minister of Education.
During his recent visit to the United Kingdom, the Mongolian Minister of Education and Science proposed an increase in the number of Chevening scholarship recipients to the UK's Minister of Education. Since 1993, Mongolian students have been offered the opportunity to pursue a one-year master's degree in any subject at a UK university through the Chevening program. To date, around 200 students have been granted the scholarship. Chevening scholars from Mongolia have access to a fully-funded scholarship and the chance to network with other scholars from around the world during their time in the UK, as well as participate in a range of events and activities. Additionally, during the visit, both sides celebrated the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations and discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the field of education.
