The 34th book festival organized under the auspices of Zandanshatar Gombojav, the Speaker of the State Great Khural of Mongolia, with the motto "Let’s read more" started on September 15.
The 34th book festival organized under the auspices of Zandanshatar Gombojav, the Speaker of the State Great Khural of Mongolia, with the motto "Let’s read more" started on September 15 at Sukhbaatar Square. The official opening ceremony of this annual book festival was held on September 16. During these days, the citizens are able to view the exhibition of books, brochures, and research information organized by the Parliamentary Research and Training Institute, introduction to the education program of the Parliament, also install the D-Parliament application on mobile phone and create an account. People can also participate in the contest to write the word "Constitution" correctly in Mongolian script. In addition to this, over 200 publishers and more than 300 authors regularly participate in the Book festival annually. This year, 50 new participants have been added. Interestingly, each year, 240,000 people visit the book festival.
