Memorandum of Cooperation Signed with Asia Cultural Center in Gwangju, South Korea
The State Commission on Rehabilitation of Mongolia or SCR will cooperate with the Asia Cultural Center or ACC in Gwangju, the Republic of Korea or ROK.
The State Commission on Rehabilitation of Mongolia or SCR will cooperate with the Asia Cultural Center or ACC in Gwangju, the Republic of Korea or ROK. A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed on November 23 or last week, at the Asian Cultural Center by Chair of the SCR, and President of the ACC. Under the Memorandum of Cooperation, the two sides agreed to cooperate in exchanging good practices regarding eliminating the negative effects and consequences of political repression, educating people as well as discovering Danzanravjaa's cultural heritage which was destroyed during the repression in Mongolia, and registering the heritage in World Heritage List of UNESCO Memory of the World Programme. Additionally, Mongolia and Korea share common values of human rights, freedom, democracy, and market economy. The ROK, a significant third neighbor of Mongolia, has consistently supported the country's efforts in democratization and transition to a market economy.
