Mongolian PM Begins Official Visit to Japan
Mongolian Prime Minister Uchral Nyam-Osor has departed for Japan for an official visit at the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.
The visit is taking place from September 27 to 30. During his visit, Prime Minister Uchral will hold official talks with Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. The two sides are expected to discuss ways to strengthen Mongolia and Japan’s Special Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity, deepen people-centered cooperation, and exchange views on regional and international issues. Prime Minister Uchral will also meet with the Speakers of both houses of the Japanese Parliament, as well as the leadership of the Japan International Cooperation Agency, or JICA, and the Japan External Trade Organization, JETRO. He is also scheduled to meet representatives of the Japan-Mongolia Economic Committee, Japanese business communities, and Mongolian citizens living in Japan. The official visit is expected to provide an opportunity to further expand bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, investment, and economic relations between Mongolia and Japan.
