Ulaanbaatar city reports 77 new cases of COVID-19
In Mongolia, 77 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours after testing 13,206 people nationwide. Therefore, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country has reached 3,153, including 2,634 locally transmitted cases. No new imported infection was recorded.
All of the newly confirmed cases were registered in the capital. 71 out of them were close contacts to the previously confirmed cases and 61 of them were detected as a result of their first test while the rest 10 were found positive after the second test. The source of five cases is under investigation.
Currently, 696 patients are receiving treatments and 626 of them are mild, 62 in serious, five in critical, and three are in very critical health condition.
