Lime and clinker plant to be built.
Lime and clinker plant to be built in eastern Mongolia. An investment agreement was signed for the construction of a high-tech lime and clinker plant, based on the limestone deposit in eastern Dornogovi province. When commissioned, the plant is expected to produce 984 thousand tons of quarries, one million tons of cement, and 100 thousand tons of lime a year. It is estimated that the plant, equipped with eco-friendly dry processing technology, will add US$230 million taxes to the State Budget. The plant is to offer some 380 new jobs.
