The two-day training conference, featuring the active participation of physics educators from various general education schools across Mongolia, is well underway into its second day. This comprehensive training event, which includes workshops and expert consultations, has been meticulously designed to address and deliberate upon the various challenges associated with the effective implementation of the physics curriculum. It also provides a platform for the exploration of innovative teaching and learning methodologies, the exchange of valuable experiences, and the fostering of collaborative relationships among educators. Moreover, a significant focus is placed on offering methodological support to enhance the growth and development of students in the field of physics. Notably, the conference serves as a platform for distributing essential measuring instruments that will play a pivotal role in the upcoming Asian Physics Olympiad. These instruments will be allocated to secondary schools, accompanied by comprehensive training. Mongolia's educational landscape is enriched by a vibrant community of 1,248 physics teachers who serve in 859 general education schools. Impressively, 45.2% of these educators are men, a notable percentage when compared to other academic subjects. Diverse experience levels are represented within this group, with 28.4% having dedicated more than two decades to teaching, while 38.7% fall into the category of young teachers, having contributed their expertise for a period ranging from 1 to 10 years. The instructional team also boasts 20 physics teachers who hold the esteemed status of consultants. The training conference enjoys the active participation of a diverse assembly, including 750 physics educators from secondary schools, 800 teachers affiliated with the Ministry of Education and Science, a cohort of scientific specialists, and esteemed university professors. This impressive convergence of minds and expertise promises to create an enriching environment for the exchange of ideas, strategies, and best practices in the realm of physics education.
