Mongolia won 2 gold and 2 bronze medals from the 8th World Bodybuilding and Physique Championships which took place in Bangkok, Thailand.
Mongolian female bodybuilders become World Champions. Mongolia won 2 gold and 2 bronze medals from the 8th World Bodybuilding and Physique Championships which took place in Bangkok, Thailand. Mongolia was represented by 10 men and 6 women athletes who competed with more than 600 athletes from 59 countries. Female bodybuilder Ichinnorov grabbed the first gold medal for the team, championing the Women’s Fitness Physique up to 160 cm. World champion G.Ugalztsetseg lived up to her title once again and won another gold medal in Women’s Athletic Physique up to 165 cm. In the same category, two other female athletes bronze medals.
