Mongolia-Germany Business Forum Advances Investment and Technology Partnerships
Businesses from Mongolia and Germany exchanged six cooperation documents at a Berlin forum.
The Mongolia-Germany Business Forum was held in Berlin on October 21 as part of President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa’s state visit to Germany. Jointly organized by the Mongolian and German chambers of commerce, the forum brought together more than 270 representatives from government and business.
In her opening remarks, Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh highlighted new opportunities created by the two countries’ Strategic Partnership, established in 2024. She called for greater investment and joint projects that combine German technology and expertise with Mongolia’s resources to develop value-added production and exports.
Participants discussed investment and cooperation opportunities in industry, wool, and cashmere, including advanced manufacturing technologies and export market expansion.
During the forum, businesses exchanged six cooperation documents covering trade, investment, construction materials, renewable energy, and food production.
Mongolia’s GR Precast LLC and Germany’s CBS Home exchanged a document on establishing a precast lightweight concrete manufacturing facility in Mongolia. Blackbox Energy and smartOPS agreed to cooperate in renewable energy, while Khuns Complex LLC signed memorandums of understanding with Germany’s Poly-clip System and Eberhardt.
The forum aimed to strengthen business ties and translate the Mongolia-Germany Strategic Partnership into concrete investment and joint projects.
