Mongolian athlete is competing in World Para-Nordic Skiing Championships 2017 in Finsterau, Germany. Athlete B.Ganbold is participating in World Para-Nordic Skiing Championships in order to qualify for Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Paralympics. To qualify for the 2018 Paralympics, he has to collect 180 points, and currently, he has 110 points. Athlete B.Ganbold competed in Sochi 2014 Winter Paralympics for the first time. Since that time the athlete has been competing in world and Asian championships. B.Ganbold is the only para-skier of Mongolia who is taking part in his second Winter Paralympics. He won Mongolia’s first silver medal in para-skiing history from an international tournament in the USA in 2013.
