Mongolian athletes will take part in the 2017 Special Olympics World Winter Games which will take place in Austria on March 14-25. 14 Mongolian athletes will compete in bandy, cross-country ski and snowshoeing. Mongolian team first participated in the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games which was held in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Then Mongolia was represented at the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games and claimed 4 gold and 4 silver medals in 3 categories.
