Mongolian team wins third place in Asian draughts championship. Asian Draughts Championship 2017 took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. From among the players of over 10 countries such as China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Japan, Turkmenistan and Lebanon, Mongolians won 34 medals, including 13 gold, 13 silver and 8 bronze medals. A total 24 draughts players participated from Mongolia and half of the participants were around the age of 8 to 16. By the rankings, Uzbekistan was at the first place, China was at second and Mongolia was at third.
