54 years ago, 13 Mongolian cyclists travelled a total of 3000km in Ulaanbaatar-Beijing-Ulaanbaatar route on bicycles. This Wednesday, the physical culture and sports authority announced that the bicycle tour would be organized again in August this year. Chinese company Grand China pledged to sponsor the bicycle tour. The families of the Mongolian cyclists reminisced that the cyclists started their tour on Jan 15, 1964, form the Central Sukhbaatar square and were welcomed reverently by some leaders of China as they reached the Tiananmen square.
