Mongolian national men's 3x3 basketball team has won a silver medal in FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2018 that took place in Shenzen, China. The Mongolian national 3x3 basketball team won New Zealand's team and in the final round, they played against Australian team losing by a single point, with results of 17:16. The 3rd edition of the 3x3 Asia Cup 2018 was the biggest on record with 39 teams (18 women's teams and 21 men's teams) with 2.5 days of a qualifying draw in Changping and 3 days of main draw competitions in the center of Shenzhen at the Nanshan Cultural & Sports Center. Last year's MVP Dulguun Enkhbat was included in the ‘Team of the Tournament’ together with Japan's Keita Suzuki and Australia's Thomas Garlepp after leading the defending champs to silver. The 26-year-old finished second overall in scoring in the men's category with 29 points.
