Mongolia to battle Brunei in first round of 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification
The Mongolian national football team will play against the national football team of Brunei Darussalam in the first round match of the FIFA World Cup 2022.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification process will be a series of tournaments organized by the six FIFA confederations to decide 31 of the 32 teams which would play in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, with Qatar qualifying automatically as hosts. Al 210 remaining FIFA member associations are eligible to enter the qualifying process. The qualifying draw is scheduled to take place in July 2019. However, qualification will open a month earlier. The Mongolian national football team will play against the national football team of Brunei Darussalam in the first round match of the FIFA World Cup 2022. The first leg of the two teams will take place in Ulaanbaatar on June 6, and the second will be held in the capital of Brunei on June 11.
