Some 23 Mongolian young chess players represented the country in the World School Chess Championship which took place in Antalya, Turkey.
Some 23 Mongolian young chess players represented the country in the World School Chess Championship which took place in Antalya, Turkey. Mongolian chess players claimed 3 gold, 3 silver and one bronze medals. The gold medal winners were in girls under the age of 11, 13 and 17 categories, the silver was in open under 11 age, and the bronze was in open under 15 age category. As a sum of team score, Mongolian team led the championship, followed by teams of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
